Mayan Hot Chocolate

  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • Hot water. The amount depends on the chocolate powder serving directions.


  1. Mix the chocolate powder, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and hot water together in a mug.
  2. Heat the milk in the microwave for 2 minutes until it begins to boil.
  3. Slowly pour the milk on the chocolate mixture while whisking it.

  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon


  1. Blend all the ingredients using a blender or food processor until smooth.
  2. Refrigerate until chilled.
